Nationale is an art space established in 2008 and dedicated to the promotion of culture through exhibitions, performances, and a selection of carefully chosen goods. Now located at 15 SE 22nd Avenue, Portland, OR and also home to local vendors Mixed Needs and tone poem.


Nationale is a member of the American Booksellers Association. To support us from afar or if you are shipping books, please choose Nationale as your beneficiary bookstore on Bookshop.


Representing artists Francesca Capone, Emily Counts, Carson Ellis, Ty Ennis, Jaik Faulk, William Matheson, Anya Roberts-Toney, and Pace Taylor.

COVID-19 policy (3/12/22): a mask tightly covering both mouth & nose is still required to enter our space. Hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance. Please do not visit while experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, even with a mask. Thank you for your understanding. Please email info@nationale.us to schedule an appointment outside of our regular hours.


Although our entrance has three short steps, we do have a BigBell button and portable wheelchair ramps. We also always welcome service animals. At this time, the gallery & the bookshop do not accept unsolicited submissions.
